Mario Kart will also appear in Wii U

Mario Kart producer Hideki Konno wants to take the franchise to Nintendo’s new platform, the Wii U, says that he is working on the development of this new game. With the help of Retro Studios developer of Mario Kart 7 but said it would need the help of another studio and said he would not include characters from other franchises from Mario Kart for the future.
