The Dragon Quest X will come to Wii and Wii U
The iconic video game Dragon Quest reaches its tenth installment with its Wii and Wii U version. This was announced by Square Enix, the company that created the game also explained that there will be online and offline game modes.
Exquire Enix, makers of Dragon Quest has announced that the tenth installment of this legendary video game will find its way wo the Wii U and Wii with the ability to play online but also offline, one of the stories. Its massive video game character will include a massive multi player game mode the same way as the previous version for the Nintendo DS. So its full title is Dragon Quest X Online: Rise of the Five Tribes.
Akira Toriyama is in charge of designing the characters that can be customized so in addition to the human characters you can also build other races like ogres and elves. The game will have Wii U specific graphics so there will be improvements though online mode will be perfectly compatible with Wii, as announced by the president of Nintendo. He also hinted that there could be some compatibility with 3DS.
The Wii version will include a USB stick to connect the console to store downloadable content, patches and updates. The control can be played with the Classic Controller, the Wii remote controls plus nunchuck and a keyboard connected to the console via a USB.
