Nintendo Wii U to make a splash in 2012
Ithet’s almost that time again when new consoles are in the horizon and the Nintendo Wii U will be no different. Next-generation consoles always come on the scene every 5 to 8 years and in 2012 Nintendo, Xbox and PlayStation will try to dominate. so far Nintendo has been pretty quiet regarding their next-generation console and very few details have been released, that said many speculate that the Nintendo Wii U will have better graphics than both Xbox 360 and PlayStation. another great feature for Nintendo Wii U is going to be its game pad controller that is in the shape of the tablet, however gamers will have to try to adjust to this new gaming pad as this will be key to Nintendo success in 2012.
Regarding games so far they’re only has been a handful announced and very few still have to be shown but needless to say we can expect to see games such as Batman Arkham city, Battlefield 3 among others.
The witty-but-gory, sci-fi-themed Killer Freaks from Outer Space and a tactical military FPS in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online.
Ubisoft seems to be the developer that Nintendo is relying on and is said to be the front-runner in creating original Nintendo games, not too shabby if you ask me but it is not clear if the developer is going to make exclusive games for the Wii U but rumor has it that the developer is currently working on a few games one has a weird but funny name called killer freaks from outer space which was shown at E3, and it is supposed to make use of the controller and touchscreen which will be essential to multiplayer gaming as gamers will be able to see different views of the map.
on to the fun party games intend those said to be releasing Pikmin which is a sort of strategy series that is supposed to be pretty fun actually also we should expect super smash Brothers and of course the all-time selling game for Nintendo
super Mario brothers, other possible games to be released also include Zelda and or a sports game
many see the current Nintendo Wii U lineup this weak but I think Nintendo is keeping us in the dark for a reason and they may have a trick up their sleeve so expect some interesting news in early 2012 or at E3 in Los Angeles in June
