crytek 300x225 Crytek is very pleased with Wii U, Good news for Nintendo FansCrytek, the studio responsible for games like Crysis and CryEngine technology, has been pleased with the Wii U development kits, the new Nintendo home console is set to be released during 2012.

“The technical specifications are very good,” said Avni Yerli, one of the founders of the company, without disclosing further details on the guts of the console.

By incorporating new features through its command, Yerli believes that “it is a challenge for designers, but once you’ve thought about it can add value, and that’s what matters.”

“Our guys are excited Nottingham with the featured development kit,” he adds. ”They’re excited.”

Hear the name Crytek and your first thought is probably absurdly polished graphics and the super shooters Crysis and Crysis 2, perhaps the CryEngine. But the German developer is looking beyond the hardcore market and taking aim at more a more casual audience with it’s Kinect game Ryse and a free-to-play browser title, Warface.
