The price of the Wii U will not be revealed until sometime in 2012

Price and date when it is not a prototype seems to be the tune of Nintendo when it comes to the Wii U.
Although Wii U has been shown in the past at E3, Satoru Iwata has confirmed that this was just one of the previous models that he can not yet give specific details.
Thus, he is unable to confirm important information to the consumer and the release date nor price or even when it will debut, until the product is not in its final stages.
“The Wii U that we showed at E3 in June was still in development and with very specific software code, we will announce the date and price for its launch next year,when we are able to explain specific details.”
Iwata was quoted.
