[Rumor] Call Of Duty could be heading to Wii U

The 2012 launch of the new gaming platform dubbed Nintendo Wii U, is attracting an endless barrage of rumors and speculation, and now it’s time for the series Call of Duty. Treyarch, one of the companies responsible for bringing the franchise to the Wii have hinted that they are working in a successful game for a new console.

Although ”new console” can refer to the announced PSVita or Wii U, or even to future consoles from Sony or Microsoft, the past success of Treyarch with Nintendo, have raised speculation of a possible Call of Duty Wii U.

The announcement comes from a search of employees in the company’s website:
“Treyarch is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer for a position on the team that will bring our most successful game to a new console.”

The truth is that neither mentions the name of Call of Duty, but honestly is the most successful franchise that has passed through their hands, and others like Spider-Man and Tony Hawk’s can not be compared to the FPS from Activision. Activision also mention that in recent months have shown great interest in Wii U, so a version of a great shooter should not come as a surprise.
