Good news I think, Electronic Arts strongly behind Wii U
Electronic arts is said to be backing the new Nintendo console, but what can this really mean for us ? Well for starters they are one of the biggest gaming companies in the world if not the biggest which is great, however they are also know to release “ported” over games to various consoles, specially to PC gamers who are not too fond of EA.
Although Nintendo presented to the public Wii’s successor, we are not yet sure what it will be able to deliver this new platform and what the future holds for the Wii U. Many third party companies have been interest in developing for it, something to be welcomed given the lack of initiative in creating titles for the latest home console from Nintendo.
Apparently, it seems that Wii U could change course to discover that it has a lot of potential, both graphic and in gameplay. Peter Moore, recently appointed chief operating officer, has been sympathetic to the company’s next Nippon console.
“There are no indications that there’s anything that feels like it’s off target,” Moore said. Nintendo’s stock has taken a beating in recent months and its share price is approaching its low for the year.

The rumors in recent days that Call of Duty and Dead Space could have a new home in Wii U are not all that exaggerated. Peter Moore, in his own words has said he is interested in the console and wants to be part of the franchise. Moreover, Moore has scheduled a visit to the offices of Nintendo in Kyoto next week to learn more on the console and see how their development process is going, looking for details about its technical specifications (processor and graphics), the price or release date. Cant wait to see what he will say ! Hopefully it will be released.
This movement of the head of operations makes us think that EA and Nintendo are in good relations in the years ahead.
