Rocksteady has high hopes for Wii U, Currently already working on the Wii U version Batman: Arkham City
The developers of ‘Batman: Arkham City’, which is scheduled for next week on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, have confirmed that they are preparing to debut the title also for the Wii U. In an interview granted by Dax Ginn of Rocksteady, to NowGamer, said that “we have reached a sweet spot with the existing platform that we are getting the best of it. If nothing changes in another 10 years, I am sure that would be perfectly happy, because we really are getting great results. But I think that will happen, change is inevitable. The Wii U is very interesting and we are currently developing ‘Batman: Arkham City.’ ”
The studio has high hopes for the new Nintendo console.
In regard to the new Nintendo console, Ginn said, “The design of the console is really trying to do a lot of different things. I think the things that it’s trying to do, it’s going to be very good at. But it’s not one-to-one comparable to the things we’ve done with this game, said Ginn.
We do not know when it will be released for the new Nintendo console, Wii U, but it seems that it will be released over the next year, and more than likely the new ‘Batman’ is one of the titles that may accompany the console at launch, looks good to me!
